what i found interesting in this article and some of the links within is the other people’s fear of the air tightness of these homes. i can understand their concern, but the crucial and fundamental things about a passive house design is the balances air pressure with the use of a high efficient heat recovery ventilator which exchanges the indoor (stale) air with fresh (outdoor) air throughout the day.
