Absolutely agree.
Bring on the boxy wanna be mid century modern flat roof clones. Now before you flame me, you are the one who asked for comments. Or is it affirmation you seek?
I just think hating is a bad thing. Perhaps there is way to be generous with your superior design sensibilities and help us ?
tell it like it is. i don’t need any sugarcoating.
i thought my goodies are a way of showing all how it should be or could be?
The one on mccleery may be the worst. You spent all that money and made your hideous garage the focal point?? why is hating a bad thing? We wouldn’t have comedy without it. And criticism could be said to be a form of hating but it is as necessary as culture.
there is no hate, just pointing. ‘these people have spent their life savings and this is what they did with it’
it always boggles the mind that people are willing to build such thing.
I think the bottom one is an old electrical station near Langley. Converted to a house years ago. I’ve always loved it. Hate the paint job though.
the building is just too imposing to be a house at first glance. they did an ok job on the interior though.
I have another for the eyesore list: 4381 Lions Avenue, North Vancouver. On the Realtor page, they won’t even show you the full front view!
it was quite scary when I looked at the outside view.
